To me it fills like a corny time capsule of 2000s Slasher films while having a pretty badass killer who has some funny one liners such as my personal favourite “Employee of the month about to fuck you up.” Though one issue I have is the fact that most of the kills are offscreen asides from a couple such as the microwave kill but other than that I think it’s a really good b movie to watch every now and again.

Official Uncle Claus Shirt Family Matching Uncle Claus Pajama T Shirt 1 is the holy grail of horror movies. Its a true gem. Back when there was no CGI for special effects, such joy to watch someone truly master his craft. You can just tell that Rob Bottin and john carpenter poured their heart and soul into this project. Even if you are not as big of a fan as I am, I think no one can argue that it is top 10 of all times. I have it top 3 along with The Shinning and The Exorcist.I feel like ‘Crimson Peak’ got short-shrifted on how beautiful, atmospheric & even firmly Gothic slow-burn it was. Granted, opinions within the horror community may have shifted over the years. Also, ‘Mama’ was so heart-breakingly lovely, with some very good creepy moments.
